There is a place for you or your loved one at Ashtongrove in Georgetown, KY.

You may be searching for a feeling of community with people who share your interests, someplace safe and comfortable with little to no home maintenance. You value your independence and want to stay active and connected in an upscale Georgetown independent living community.

That may sound good, but you may also need a little extra support now or in the future keeping track of medications, doing laundry, errands, bathing or dressing. Assisted living provides the care you need right here in Georgetown, leaving everything else in your capable hands.

You might even be a concerned family member or friend who knows that Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia can have unexpected effects on your loved one. We see family and friend caregivers feeling frustrated, overwhelmed and in need of help. Memory care close to home can provide daily support for both your loved one and for you.

Your place here, no matter where it is, is filled with friendships and family, a life filled with independence and purpose, tender and trusted care when and how you need it and the feeling that you’re home.

We are so excited to have Bev and John Passerello deposit and plan on making Ashtongrove their home! They will bring a lot of fun to our amazing community. These two are very involved in Kentucky horses, and known as the “Donut People” since they always bring dozens of donuts to the workers in the backstretch every day during Keeneland meets. We can’t wait until our building is move-in ready.

Meet Shirley Hoffman

Shirley grew up in Corbin and then lived in Stamping Ground before moving to Georgetown. She is a retired secondary education teacher and has always had a passion for singing.

The church she's attended for 64 years started a choir years ago that has evolved into a community choir made up of members from 12 churches. Known as "His Majesty's Messengers", the traveling choir performs three cantatas a year and sings at the Annual Homemakers Banquet.

Shirley was also President of Scott County's Habitat for Humanity for many years. She has 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren ("but there might be more soon", she said).

Shirley along with Bonnie and Lois, three of our depositors, attended the September 24th Lunch & Learn. We cannot wait to have Shirley, Bonnie and Lois in our community!
